Community-led advocacy for the Enumclaw Plateau.

EPCA is a community nonprofit serving unincorporated residents in the Southeast King County Community Service Area (CSA).

If you live in the unincorporated area around Enumclaw city, we are one way you can interface with your local county government (Department of Local Services). Get involved!

Current areas of focus

  • Land Use / Development

We monitor relevant mine proposals, BESS applicants, housing proposals, event venues, and any zoning changes that might affect unincorporated residents.

  • Mobility / Transportation

From the Foothills Trail to local transit projects, we work to keep you up to date on what’s happening.

  • Trails / Recreation

We work with the Washington Trails Association wherever possible to gather and disseminate information regarding hiking, camping, and equestrian facilities in our area.

  • Community Outreach

EPCA hosts monthly community meetings highlighting local issues and hosting county representatives. See when the next one is here!

  • Local Ecosystems / Conservation

From native plant restoration along the Foothills Trails to water quality and salmon monitoring, we care deeply about the lands and waters we call home.

  • Emergency Preparedness

Wildfire preparedness, road closures, power outages, and flooding are just some of the few challenges we deal with here on the Enumclaw Plateau.
